I get so tired of seeing certain Merthur shippers AND certain Arwen shippers paint themselves as tolerant, reasonable long-suffering martyrs and the entire other ship as a group of emotional sadists. There are there are nice, normal people in both groups that don’t deserve the bad reputation a few obnoxious extremists give the ship. Just because one of those obnoxious extremists doesn’t agree with you, that doesn’t give you the right to stop to their level by being obnoxious back.

I love that Arwen didn’t choose the easy path, every time they faced ordeals it could have been easier to give up on their love rather than fight what seems impossible to beat, but they didn’t, they chose to be together, that’s why their love is the stongest and the most beautiful.

I hope that the marriage between Arthur and Gwen is portrayed as being both happy and realistic. Right now, I just kind of need some hope that romantic love is real and that marriage might possibly be worth something every once in a while. I’m a huge skeptic when it comes to romance, but I don’t want to be anymore.

I am happy that Arthur and Gwen got married, but I still feel that it was rushed - I would’ve liked to see a whole episode dedicated to their wedding so that we could see it in more detail.
