I felt that Morgana and Gwen in S1 and S2 had the most natural friendship in the whole show. I’m still cut it’s over.

I fell in love with series one Arthur. The nicer and more mature he became the less I liked him.

I really wish there was some way for Nimueh to return. She was the best enemy in series 1! And Michelle Ryan did an amazing job playing her.

I hate it when people assume just because I love S1 I’m bashing their ship. I love S1 because it was a ridiculous, campy, monster-of-the-week kids’ show, and the best fanfiction was written in the hiatus between S1 and S2. I do love the current Merlin, but those days hold a lot of nostalgia for me. S1 FTW!

I really miss the OT4 friendship in S3 and onwards. They were so adorable in S1!

I love the Merlin/Gwen friendship in S4. It was like S1 all over again. I hope we see more of it in series 5.

I believe we can suppress Merlin’s first season and the show would still work perfectly, maybe even better.

I miss the ol’ buddy cop relationship that Merlin and Guinevere had in season one!

I really liked season one for shipping reasons: there was a little bit of everything! GwenxMerlin, MerlinxMorgana, ArthurxMerlin, GwenxMorgana, MorganaxArthur, GwenxLancelot, LancelotxArthur, LancelotxMerlin, GwenxArthur, MorganaxLancelot! It was like a free-for-all ;)

I miss S1!Gwen and S1!Morgana and their friendship.
