The Lady and the Lake episode destroyed me and left me emotionally raw for days. When Merlin hesitated before setting Freya’s boat alight I felt a piece of me die inside.

How could Merlin extend a helping hand to people like Freya and Gilli, who he barely knew, but not even bother to help out Morgana? He straight away told Freya and Gilli who he was without knowing who they were, and yet here is Morgana, someone he knows well and who he knows wouldn’t betray him, and he doesn’t tell her about his magic. I’m sorry, but I think it was just ridiculous.

Elaine is one of my favorite Arthurian characters, but if there ever is a Galahad on Merlin I want him to be the child of Freya and Lancelot.

I really ship Merlin/Freya and wished there were more episodes of them together. I felt really sad when Freya died.

I want to see more of Merlin and Hunith relationship. Also, I want for Merlin to find a way to bring back his father Balinor, and his first love, Freya. Merlin needs more family connections and deserves to have people who love him around him. At the moment, it looks like Merlin is lonely and without anyone (except Gaius, but very rarely) to show him some love.
