The series takes place in Early Middle Ages. That’s why, all the costumes and weapons, in general, all the culture, should be like it was in the Early Middle Ages. But we see a very, very CREEPY mix of Early Middle Ages to Late Middle Ages, and even Early Modern Age! That’s sad and miserable. I’m wondering if the workers behind the cameras ever consulted a historian who knows about Early Middle Ages - I don’t think so. :(
