It angers me how much hate Morgana/Gwen femslashers get, when most of them are lesbians. On the other hand, the same haters go on and on about Merlin/Arthur queerbaiting. I cannot stand the double standards.

I’ve seen some people complain about how Merlin didn’t use magic in A Servant of Two Masters, but Morgana says that with the femorrah’s help, “everything that makes (him) Merlin will be gone.” Magic is a huge part of who Merlin is, so it makes sense that he would forget that he has it.

What happened to Aithusa makes me sad. Colin’s face makes me happy.

You can tell by the way Arthur stares in Merlin’s eyes that their love for each other is eternal.

Merlin and Arthur may not be canon, but their quiet, simmering chemistry and devotion to each other… How could I not ship it? I’ve always loved the friendship to romance trope.

I find it strange that people condemn Gwen for sentencing Sefa to death when she (Gwen) admits that she gave that sentence merely to attract Ruadan to Camelot. Did everyone miss that part of Arthur’s Bane Part Two?

The worst thing about Merlin and Arthur’s friendship/relationship is that Merlin has been serving Arthur for nearly a decade, and Arthur still treats him badly, despite Merlin’s unwavering loyalty and bravery.

I adore Ruadan. He was intelligent, interesting and a very powerful foe. It’s a pity the writers killed him off so fast, he had so much potential.

I can’t explain it, but I suddenly feel an overpowering urge to ship (older) Mordred with Merlin, Arthur, Morgana - even Gwen and Gwaine who he’s never even interacted with properly yet. This should disturb me far more than it does. I blame Alex for creating an interesting character and being so charismatic that I can’t help but ship him with everything.
